The complete 1 hour Meditations album spread across two 30-minute tapes. All 5 meditations are included with Meditation III on its own 30 minute tape. Meditation I, II, IV, and V come on either white, gold, or clear green cassette shells chosen randomly* with each order while Meditation III is recorded onto its own 30-minute Checker Pattern Brown shell.

All recording and mixing was done on analog tape machines. A tiny bit of digital EQ was added in post-production during mastering to reduce tape hiss and create the highest quality digital masters for recording to tape. All tapes are dubbed with Dolby B enabled. If you prefer Dolby C or would like us to disable Dolby NR completely please specify in the notes during checkout.

Recorded on standalone portable instruments to a 4 track recorder, Meditations is an exercise in creating an ambient album that one could also meditate to. It is the background sound of my mind when I sit alone in silence. I recorded this album over the course of a work week as a way to reset my brain and come up with more creative ideas for subsequent albums by working in ways and with equipment I'm unfamiliar with.

Hidden within the noise are patterns that shift and warp - sometimes for better and sometimes for worse - but because of the all analog nature of the recording process the noise is ever-present.
